Note: If you intend to bring along items for the auction please be at the club by 7pm to allow for items to be set out and listed.

24th / 25th DRIVE IT DAY   East Anglian Transport Museum,  Carlton Colville Classic day, there will also be two road runs set up on the Sunday see full details at club meetings, and fill in entry form if you want to go. DF

16th L.C.V.C. Dick & Holly’s ‘Best way to get you lost’ Treasure Hunt. Please let Dick & Holly know if you are coming, for booking food etc.  Meet at the Claremont Pier Lowestoft @9.30 ready to start leaving at 10am    DF
19th L.C.V.C. Club run ‘Taste of the East End night’ short run to the Gillingham Swan where you can try the famous ‘Manzies’ Pie & mash, a very old London dish! £8.50 for the double pie. And £5.50 for the single. There will be an alternative if you don’t want the Pie & Mash. See Geoff for more details of alternative menu, and your order, and payment before the night.  Meet at the Kessingland dam 6.45pm to leave at 7.00pm.
23rd Classic Cars & Crab & Lobster Festival-Sheringham. High Street is closed off to main traffic to enable lines of Classic cars to line up down the street. Lots to see and do for all the family. See Tom/Geoff for any more details, and to let Tom know if you are coming.  There is camping for the w/end from 21-23 May at nearby Woodhill park caravan & campsite, so why not make a weekend of it!  Call campsite direct to book your own pitch 01263 512242,  DF

13th L.C.V.C. Club Run & Free BBQ + Boat trips, to Womack Staithe Ludham, very kindly laid on by club members Clive & Carol Lewis. They would like donations in the bucket for our charity event this year for the boat trips. Just bring your own drinks. Meet at Parkhill Hotel 10.45am, leave at 11.00 am. 16th L.C.V.C. Calendar Shoot around Southwold, meet at Southwold Pier car park from 6.00 pm, followed by a Fish & Chip supper @ £3.60 pp, back at Pakefield Cliff car park the same place as last year - must be pre booked and paid up front by the 9June Meeting. ‘’Come on lets have some different cars this year! 20th 3rd Pakefield Cliff top Village Fete. Please let Tom know numbers, meet there at 11.am, (Entrance to the field is down All Saints Rd) Chip shop on the corner. DF
27th ‘’Carla’s Memorial Run’’ to the Fairhaven Garden Trust, South Walsham. In aid of the Palliative care unit at the James Padget Hospital.  This will be a charity run at a cost of £5.00 per car, and we have been given a reduced entry price of two for one, so £5.00 for two adults, and £4.50 for two concessions, Children @ £2.50, We will also be running a raffle on the day so any donations will be great!  Boat trips will be available but best to book your place in advance - these are £3.50 pp.  Please let Geoff know numbers if you are coming and if you want the boat trip.

4th North Norfolk Railway Vintage Transport Day Holt station Norfolk, forms available at club meetings, once booked make your own way there.  DF

18th                           It's the big one. Our annual rally will be held once again at The Malting's Meadow Sports ground, just off the A143 "Chicken Roundabout" at Ditchingham.  See the Events page for full details and an entry form.
25th L.C.V.C. Trip to the Cotton Mechanical Music Museum, on one of the old London Buses from the East Anglian Transport Museum, Carlton  Colville. There are only 50 places available so first come first serve basis, we will be stopping at Framlingham for lunch, where you can either go in one of the pubs or the café, or even take a picnic, it’s up to you! £9.50 pp paid in advance with booking your place. Meet at the Museum at 10am leave at 10.30
